Myles H. Alderman Jr. has been guiding business leaders through Chapter 11 business reorganizations and educating lawyers about the process for over 35 years.   

His primary areas of practice include Business Bankruptcy, Creditors Rights’ and Restructuring.    He has extensive experience representing businesses in financial distress, secured and unsecured lenders, trade creditors, committees and parties interested in acquiring assets, in Chapter 11 business reorganizations, liquidations and workouts.

Industries with which he has experience include, construction, design, fashion,  healthcare, logistics,  manufacturing, not-for-profits,  aviation and ground transportation.

He has managed reorganizations critical service providers, at national airports and helped clients navigate some of the largest reorganizations in the United States.    Clients have turned to him to crafted strategies to help clients address issues of first impression in cases that have been “mission critical” to clients.

The Connecticut Bar Association selected him to write the Bankruptcy Chapter of its Lawyers’ Desktop reference book.  For two decades he has served as advisor the the Connecticut Lawyer Magazine on issues of Bankruptcy and Commercial Law.

His commentary on Business Bankruptcy has appeared in the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal and many other publications.

In addition his explanations of the bankruptcy process have appeared in a wide range of publications including the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal and he has been a featured guest on dozens of broadcasts on television and radio.
